Allison R. Ott
Allison began working for Gurdjian in June of 1996. She became licensed in life and health insurance in 2003. Allison earned a business degree from the University of Phoenix in 2006. In 2007, she received her Senior Market Specialist accreditation. She has also graduated from the Great Lakes Leadership Academy.
Allison lives in rural Sand Creek, Michigan with her husband, Joe. They are the proud parents of a son, Douglas, a daughter, Eleanor and Lexi, their chocolate lab. She and Joe also raise 500 head of cattle. In her spare time, Allison loves to work on the family farm, garden and ride horses. She is an active Mom as both of her children play hockey, basketball, baseball, equestrian team as well as show horses and cattle.
Allison is a member of the Weston United Methodist Church. She is the Seneca Township Clerk, Past President, Current Board Member and a member of the Flag Committee as well as a Flag Captain for Kiwanis Club of Adrian, she has also served on the Adrian Kiwanis Foundation Board. Allison volunteers her time with 4-H, Lenawee Cares and Lenawee Christian School. She is a graduate of the Emerging Leaders Program a former United Way program.
Allison Ott was the 2018 ATHENA Young Professional Award recipient. The Young Professional Award recognizes a woman who assists women in reaching their full leadership potential and serves as a role model for young women both personally and professionally.
Allison was the recipient of the 2014 INCITO AWARD. The United Way Young Leader Incito Award was established in 2011 to recognize a young professional who has emerged as a community leader and exemplifies the mission of Lenawee United Way through a demonstrated commitment to volunteerism, philanthropy, and leadership. “Incito” is Latin for “inspire” and the United Way Young Leader Incito recipient inspires by example while making our community a better place to live and work.
